Hi everyone. A very Happy New Year to you all! I’m not really one for resolutions, but feeling super motivated about what 2023 has to hold. I took a couple of days away from Telegram, but reading back through all the messages thought it might be helpful to summarise responses to some of the themes in all the questions. This group def works best when you guys all help each other out, which happened over the past few days, so thanks for that! 🎁 Benefits Before the New Year, we announced that EEA/UK members on the waitlist OR with card activated before 31.12.22 2359GMT would retain the original benefits until 12 months later. Please note this includes upgrades. So if you eg. go from Silver to Gold in later this year, you’ll still be eligible for the “2022” benefits. There was a mis-perception that Benefits would change at midnight on 31.12.22, this is not the case, though Benefits are subject to change. --- 🔵 NEXO/CRO Bonus i) if you bought HI at the 1-Year price (BEFORE it was removed) with CRO/NEXO, the bonus will be credited to you soon. No action required. ii) If you deposited CRO/NEXO AFTER the 1-Year price was removed, and sent an email to bonus@hi.com, your bonus will be calculated and credited to you soon. We need to calculate and distribute these manually, you'll get HI price based on when you made the deposit. Given what I wrote above in Benefits, there is no urgency per say to receive the bonus, apart from that of course you’ll want the tier upgrade where applicable. So we’ll get through these as soon as we can. Please patient, teams are still on leave. The campaign runs til the end of Jan. --- 💳 Physical Card Issuance Good news! Physical cards are locked in for production. You can see an overview of the different options available per tier in this Silver = PVC & NFT options (no regular metal) Gold = PVC, Metal, NFT options --- 🌍 Travel Benefits There was an issue with Travel Benefits not displaying for members on iOS. We have fixed this (along with some other fixes), and v 2.4.5 will be deployed shortly. Members from non-eligible card markets who are Gold Tier + are also eligible for Travel Benefits. Check your email for details on how to activate. NB: We are aware that the benefits shown on the membership page in the App are outdated. Please ignore. These have been re-designed and are in the dev backlog for engineering. --- 📚 Terminology, as there appears to be some confusion: Card Spend Rewards = Cashback on spending. We are not allowed to call this cash back as it is paid in tokens and not cash persay. These are credited instantaneously. Subscription Rebate = Up to 12 Euro / 12 Pounds paid back to you in HI for any supported digital subscription service you pay for using your hi Card. (Depending on Tier). These are not currently all credited instantaneously. This is for subscription services only. Those you see in the app are those that are currently available. We have alot of work to do on the subscription service, expect the experience to be improved alot of the next 2 deployments. Merchant Offers (not yet available) = In the future we will be working with merchants to provide more offers for you. (For example a free coffee every 10 times you buy a coffee at Starbucks using your card. This is JUST an example!). --- 🥩 stake.hi.com There is a known issue with staked LP tokens not showing as contributing to tier in the hi App. We have not changed policy and this is being fixed. --- 🙋‍♂️ Members from non-eligible card markets You have not been forgotten. Our focus for the first half of this year is on improving the European product while we expanding to new markets. In the meantime we'll work on clarifiyng which benefits are avaialable to you and how you can access them. Please understand that it's impossible for us to issue everywhere at once. We'll do right by you once we have a clearer sense of timelines etc. --- I think that covers most known issues and questions.

You can use your hi Debit Card to pay for your monthly subscription at any supported merchant and get the subscription fee paid back to you in $HI up to 12 EUR / GBP / USD per month. Remember, you need to select your subscriptions of choice in the hi App before paying for them with your card. Read more here. However, as this service is brand new, please be aware that for the time being, your rebate amount will NOT be credited to you instantaneously. Part of the issue, is that the codes used by each merchant are not readily available. Here’s how you can help 1. Fill in 👉👉THIS FORM 👈👈, so we know which subscription you paid for using your hi Card 2. If you can, please provide the merchant code in the screenshot 3. Approximately at the end of this month, we will then manually issue the rebate amount for subscriptions to members. Please don’t just share as a message in the Telegram channel, as there’s a chance it will get missed.
